Hear from veteran attorneys about the types of homestead property and what constitutes a Homestead. You’ll also learn about the protections to a Homestead from creditors claim and the restrictions on Devise and Joinder. You’ll leave this course with an elevated understand of the rights and limitations of survivorship and transfer of tax exemption status and be able to answer a buyer’s or seller’s questions with confidence!

Paperless Policy
RALSC has adopted a new paperless policy for all educational courses. Course materials and/or handouts will no longer be printed or available for purchase in hard copy form. All registered attendees will receive digital course materials via email prior to class, allowing you to download or print them for personal use if desired.

No-Show Policy: 
We recognize that unexpected circumstances may occasionally prevent you from attending a scheduled class. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance by emailing Alisha Kissee Garcia at alisha@ralsc.org. Participants who do not attend a class or event without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.

In the event of extraordinary circumstances—such as a medical emergency or unforeseen personal hardship—refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This policy supports our commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences and ensures that available seats can be offered to members eager to participate.
