The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members. The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. servicemembers and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.

Benefits of Becoming an MRP

  • -Understanding of the processes and procedures involved in a military relocation and how these impact service members’ relocation and housing choices
  • -Ability to provide information to help members through a rent or buy, sell or rent decision-making process
  • -Ability to identify and provide services that help service members sell or find and purchase suitable homes
  • -The knowledge of the military relocation process you need to guide service members through the real estate transaction
  • -Ability to explain the basics of VA financing
  • -Access to the members-only marketing tools and resources
  • -The Military Relocation Professional Certification Core course is an approved elective for the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation.

Upon Course Completion:

-Once NAR sends you acknowledgment of your course credit, submit your one-time application fee of $195 to complete your certification.

-After the initial application fee is paid, there are no annual certification dues, although you must maintain membership in NAR to use MRP.

Paperless Policy:
RALSC has adopted a new paperless policy for all educational courses. Course materials and/or handouts will no longer be printed or available for purchase in hard copy form. All registered attendees will receive digital course materials via email prior to class, allowing you to download or print them for personal use if desired.

No-Show Policy:
We recognize that unexpected circumstances may occasionally prevent you from attending a scheduled class. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance by emailing Alisha Kissee Garcia at alisha@ralsc.org. Participants who do not attend a class or event without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.

In the event of extraordinary circumstances—such as a medical emergency or unforeseen personal hardship—refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This policy supports our commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences and ensures that available seats can be offered to members eager to participate.
